Blazer's Game...

The basketball game was SO awesome! I feel really lucky to have been able to go! When we got to my aunt and uncle's house, we immediately went out to dinner at Old Town Pizza. It was really good, and the crust was fluffy and delicious! Then, we squished in like sardines on the Tri-met streetcar, and finally we reached the Rose Garden! The game started out great, with the Blazers in the lead (against the Milwaukee Bucks) and we stayed that way for the whole game. At halftime, we got ice cream that hit the spot! We got free clappers from the cheerleaders, and we clapped our way home, probably annoying my aunt and uncle the WHOLE way back! Overall, I think it was one of the best Christmas presents of the year (so far)!

What I will do for 5 dollars...

A few days ago, my mom heard on the radio about a website which is like Ebay. Anyone can post something they'll make or sell to you...But here's the catch; it's only for 5 dollars. One person will cartoon-ize your pet for only 5 dollars! Another will send you 10 authentic Chinese New Year pouches for 5 dollars. There are endless possibilities that you can do or get for 5 dollars on this website:

I hope you find some cool things there!

Snow that's sticking!

Last night, we had huge gusts of wind and sideways snow! And guess what? It STUCK! Because of the time, (10:30) my dad didn't let us go outside, but when we woke up, it was the very same! Ragen and I RUSHED outside and played in the snow for a couple of hours. I hope we'll be able to get up to Hood River, because everything is icy and frozen!

SNOW!

Today, when my family, my friend Sabrina, and I got home from church, it began to SNOW! We quickly bundled up in hats and gloves and ran outside full speed! They were big flakes, (that means it's warm outside) so they landed on our tongue easily! YAY! I love snow! Sadly, it didn't stick, but just watching it fall was fun.

Recent whereabouts...

Halloween is over, but I just realized that I forgot to post about it! I was Farrah Fawcett, with the hair and all for Halloween. I had so much fun trick-or-treating with my two friends, Anika and Anna! My pillowcase was about halfway full of candy when we finished, but in the next two days, my candy amount dropped drastically. (Due to the fact that my dad ate half of my candy)
Today, Maddie, my mom, and I went shopping for groceries, some clothes, and a birthday present. The first thing Maddie thought of for the present was...wait for it...a Snuggie! (you know, those 'fuzzy blankets with convenient arms!') It turns out that it was a perfect gift! We literally drove EVERYWHERE today! The funny thing is that I sat in the car while Maddie and my mom shopped. Very convenient for me [teehee!]!
Now, I'll share about the more current things going on! THANKSGIVING! [gobble...gobble] My family and I are driving to my aunt and uncle's house up in Hood River for Thanksgiving. There may be a chance of snow, and my sisters and I are SO excited! Hopefully, I will have a bulging belly so big that my pants won't button after this plentiful holiday!
The fall term is over already, so we have this week off. I'm anticipating a trip to the mall, (to check out the new H&M store) some sleep-overs, and even more fun things...Which I am blanking out on right now because I am so tired. (I just woke up)
Well, now you're pretty much all filled in on the recent whereabouts and adventures of Morgan!

Just finished with my cross country meet!

Just an hour ago, I finished my cross country meet. It was really nice outside, but in cross country, you almost WISH for bad weather because it's so hot. I was baking, but I still did well in the race! The race was with 6th and 7th graders, with about 50 girls. I got 11th overall and 3rd 6th grader. Also, I was the first person on the Athey Creek Middle school to finish; I even got a medal! The hardest part was when I had to run up a hill that was difficult to even WALK up, and there were random ankle-high dirt mounds that I tripped over. Besides that though, it was a fantastic race! I'm sad that I only have one more meet because cross country is a great experience. I get to push myself as far as I can go, and I feel really great!

Good test grades

I got my tests back, and I did pretty well! I think on most of them, I worried too much. Today I had yet another test, and yet again, I worried too much. :D But that's okay! (By the way, if donkeys could fly, then become a strawberry. BUT, if all else fails, grapes are the way to go.) Anyways, guests are coming over for dinner, and my mom made a whole bunch of hamburger soup (it's not what it sounds like) and I am SO excited! It is the greatest soup pretty much...EVER! Well, the guests are almost here, so I'm gonna go set the table.

Bye! ~mo [status: anticipating yummy soup...]

Tests, Tests, TESTS!

This week was awesome because I helped a lot in the library and it was just plain fun...but MAN did we have to study a lot for our tests! Every single day of the week, my teachers told us to study. On top of THAT, we had our usual homework, too! Well...I guess this is my first real taste of middle school... :D. I'm pretty sure I did well on most of my tests (they were in every single class but science) and so I'm just waiting untill I get my tests back...graded. Uugh.

Best Soccer Weekend...EVER!

Hooray! The Portland Pilots won! We got great seats, and the band was really enthusiastic and entertaining. I feel super, duper, uber lucky to be able to go to that game! My two friends, Tasman and Sophie were awesome as well, and they made it better and even more fun (because we caught a grasshopper on the bleachers :D) !!! Then, the next day, we had a soccer tournament, and we won a game and lost a game. They were great either way! My weekend was

Portland Pilots Women's Soccer Game!

I am stoked for the Portland Pilots women's soccer game that I get to go to this Friday. This will be my first real soccer game, and I can't wait! I'm bringing my friends Tasman and Sophie along with us, and it'll be a blast!
Besides that, I get to walk to the park with my 6th grade class tomorrow because my principle said she hasn't talked to us a bunch this year...it was kinda random. But who cares?! We get to go to the park while the rest of the school stays and does school stuff [evil laugh]!

Anyways, Ill be posting about how the game was right after I get back from the game. L8ter!

Cross Country

Yesterday, I did cross country for the first time, and I LOVED it. I am so glad that I tried a new thing, because it is my favorite thing to do, despite the sore legs I get in the morning...[giggle]. When I got there, I was SO nervous, I was shaking, and was worried that I would mess up and make a fool out of myself! I LOVE CROSS COUNTRY! :D

Even MORE Camping Pics!

Camping Photos

Amazing Camping Trip!

This weekend was definitely one of the most memorable ones this summer. We drove up to Hood River to see our aunt Amie and her boyfriend, Michael, and when we got there at 10:00 at night, we went straight to bed. In the morning, we packed up and left to go camping with them on Mt. Adams! After a bumpy ride up to the rock quarry, (on Mt. Adams) we set up our tent and started a fire. Roasting hot dogs was my favorite part! When it began to get darker, it got colder as well. I bundled up in a grand total of: 5 sweatshirts, 3 pairs of socks, 2 pairs of pants, and 4 long sleeve shirts! We were frozen like icicles during the night! When we woke up, the most astonishing thing happened. The water we had left in our cups, pots and pans the previous night were frozen SOLID! It turns out that we slept through 32-degree weather! To get ourselves warmed up, we walked four miles up to a point where we were about 7/8ths up the mountain (7,000 feet). We saw the most incredible views, including a mountain goat, plenty of chipmunks, and a cliff that would send you straight down to the bottom with one wrong step. Then, we walked three miles down (taking a shortcut). Starving for lunch, the family returned to our campsite where we had some more hot dogs. :D Just for fun, we felt like hiking some more, so we headed for a lookout cliff that Michael would show us the way to. On our way there, Ragen stumbled upon some cow bones! A jaw, a backbone, and an almost-completed vertebra were found. We hiked back, and packed up to go home, sadly. I had never gone on a real camping trip like that, with no bathrooms, or anything! It was the most fun trip I have been on this summer, and I feel really grateful to be able to go!
Another fun thing that happened just today is the first day of school! I missed so many of my friends, and I am SO glad that school has finally started! We have two new kids in our class, and they are really nice. Ragen still goes to Stafford, and she got Mrs. Kriesel for a teacher. I had her as a teacher, and she is the most loving, caring, coolest, and awesome teacher ever! I am so glad for Ragen, and she already likes Mrs. Kriesel! Yay for Ragen!

At Sabrina's House

I'm at my friend Sabrina's house, and we're having a blast! We stayed up until 3:00 AM, while watching Pirates of the Carribean Dead Mans Chest (number two in the series). Also, we are going to have cinnamon twirl french toast for breakfast with corn flakes on the top. We also managed to make Sabrina a blog, just like this one! :D It's really cool. Well, breakfast is ready, gotta go!

Improved Blog!

Hi everyone! Recently, I have made a few changes to my blog's look, so if you think you might possibly be on the wrong blog, you aren't! I just switched it up a bit!

At the office!

I'm at my mom's office again, but this time we brought along Ragen! It's so much fun with her here. She is playing on her Nintendo DSi, and I am blogging, so we're all happy :D. We usually come in on Fridays, but because my mom is doing the Portland to Coast relay race on Friday, we came in on a Thursday. But, no matter what day of the week, it's always fun to get hot chocolates and toasted bagels from the little cafe! I love their catch-phrase, "How much Java could a woodchuck chug?" Ragen and I cracked up!

Another thing is my little cousins went home, and I miss them already! My aunt Lisa's birthday is today, so I want to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I love you SO much!

Oaks Park, and a family party!

This week has been super great! My friend Anika took Ragen, Elle, and Anna (Elle, Anika and Anna are my friends from school) to Oaks Amusement Park to ride the rides! We all had a blast! First, we took a picture with the Portland Trail Blazer's mascot, (I have no clue why he was there) and then we couldn't wait to go on the rides! There is one ride that Elle and Anika went on, called the Screaming Eagle, where you sit strapped in a circle, spinning around, while swinging up and down, almost going upside-down! At first, I thought it was a piece of cake, but when I got closer to it, I chickened out and walked away. Then, I pushed myself to go on it, and I did! It turns out, it's my favorite ride in the whole park! Now, what I realize is that what's life if you never try!? I mean, it's not like I could have died or anything. If I like it, I like it, and if I totally hate it, well then...I totally hate it and I'll never go on it again.

Also this week, we had a family party that was super, totally, completely awesome! My cousins are still in town (yay!!!) so we decided that before they leave, we have to have a family party! Our other cousins that do live in Oregon offered to have us over because they have the river in their backyard, so we all decided on their house. We got there in our bathing suits, and immediately ran down to the river with their dog, Finnigan. (by the way, he is the cutest dog EVER!) The water was freezing at first, but then I got used to it. We swam around in our life jackets for a while, and then ran up to the hot tub to warm up. Surprise!!! Uncle Adrian came out, fueled up the boat, and took us all inter-tubing!!! When we got back, pizza was ready for us. We gobbled it up, and then ran down to the dock and jumped into the river again! It started getting late, so we headed home. It turned out to be one of the most fun days ever!!!

Best Day Ever!

Hey! I accidentally skipped a day, but for a very good reason! Yesterday, my mom, my aunt, and my grandma went shopping together, so we got to stay with our cousins and my uncle Tim! (oh, and did I mention that Maddie was babysitting?) We played for a little while, but we got hungry so we ran upstairs like a pack of hungry wolves and asked, "What's for lunch?"

Our awesome uncle Tim said, "How about Burgerville?"

We happily replied with, "Yes!!!"

Once we got there, we ordered a whole bunch of stuff like fries, and hamburgers. We also learned that their cups are made 80% of recycled materials, as well as their straws, napkins, and lids to cups! We were amazed! Once our order was ready, we dug in! Afterwards, we realized that a lunch at Burgerville isn't a lunch without one of their amazing milkshakes, so we split two chocolate shakes into four. Yummy!

We left Burgerville with our bellies stuffed, and we decided to go walk off our food. We drove down to George Rogers Park, and played in the sand for a while. We even learned how to skip rocks! Our uncle Tim is an expert at skipping rocks, he got up to 6 skips in a row! I could only get to 2, but that's okay, I'm a beginner. They, we actually went to the park area, and we swung on the swings for a bit. My cousins got bored, so we left.

Maybe an hour later, my grandma, aunt, and mom got back from shopping, and told us that we could go swimming! Everyone was so excited! I drove home with my mom to get our swimming stuff, and we met the rest of the family at the pool. We got there, and there was almost no one there! It was great! We swam for about 2 hours, and then got dinner. It was the greatest day EVER!

Now, I have to go and walk my dog, so...I hope you enjoyed this super long post! Bye!

Blueberry Picking/Playing With Cousins!

Okay, so today we actually went blueberry picking. We have been meaning to, but today, we actually got ourselves up and going! My mom and my two sisters (Maddie and Ragen) hopped in the car, picked up my two cousins (Davis, 7 and Lauren, 5) and my grandma, and we were off to the farm! The first few rows of blueberries were pretty small, so we moved on to another section, and we finally found a good few rows of big ones. Because they were so big, we decided to have a contest of who could find the biggest blueberry. Maddie (my older sister) and I tied with blueberries that were as big as maybe...a quarter, probably a bit bigger! Eventually, we got hungry, so we bought our blueberries and pigged out to some chips and sandwiches. Davis brought Dibs, so we snacked on those. After that, our party left for home! Right now, we're at home, playing dolls and stuff. Gotta go, they want me to play with them! Stay tuned!

Cousins From California!

Okay, so my fabulous aunt and cute two cousins from California have driven up to see us! I haven't seen them for a while, so its super exciting! My aunt is making me an egg salad sandwich, and I'm preparing myself for amazing deliciousness. (wow, is deliciousness a word?) She makes the greatest egg salad sandwiches EVER! By the way, if you don't know what an egg salad sandwich is, you should just Google it (all hail Google). My dog, Fletch, is sniffing my foot, and it tickles! Hahahaha! We finally got him a bath, so he is pretty and white, not yellow and smelly. It is such a relief. Well, my sandwich is ready, so I gotta go! I'll try to make another post today, but if I cant, well, thats too bad. L8ter!

Happy August 1st!

Hiya! Today was absolutely awesome! First, we went to church. After that, my dad decided he needed a coffee, so we ran over to Starbucks where our favorite person in the whole wide WORLD was there, Brea! We got some yummy treats and then we left for the plant store! My mom has been wanting some rosemary and lavender plants for a while, so we finally got those, as well as a cute, little cactus! (isn't the non-plural cacti?) Anyways, after that we went swimming at my friends house, and we had so much fun! We swam for about 4 hours, and I drank a total of THREE Cokes! I was full of sugar! It was the best day of my summer so far! We stayed for a while after getting out, and then we had to leave :( Well, that's pretty much it of what happened today! Stay tuned for my next entry!

The Cutest Kids...EVER!

So, as you may know, my family baby-sat some of our friends kids for a day. I was afraid that they wouldn't like me, but guess what? It turns out that they are the cutest, sweetest, and most darling kids in the whole wide world.

In my most recent post, I accidentaly said that there were three kids, but theres only two. Silly me. The baby is 7 months, and the other little kid is 2 and a half. In the first few minutes, we fell in love with them, and guess what? They slept over, too. It was so great! We played with little people, we fed the baby, and we walked Fletch (my dog who looks like a marshmallow) and we had a blast! They left at 8:00, and we were really sad, but I guess we'll have to wait until next year when they come back up to Oregon! Yay!

At my moms office!

(9:47 A.M.) Hi again! Today, I am at my mom’s office! It’s really fun! Well…the only thing I can do is play on the computer, so I’m having the best time ever! Yay! I might run down the hall to get a yummy hot chocolate or something. Doesn’t that sound delicious? Yes. It does. I’ll be right back!

(9:59 A.M.) I’m back! Wow. The line was SO LONG! I had to wait forever! Not really, just 8 minutes. But, it still was long! The person who made my hot cocoa gave me free whipped cream! She was so nice!

(11:02 A.M.) Wowie Zowie! Time has gone by so fast! I’m having a BLAST! My dad’s friend’s sons are coming over tonight, and I am so excited! One is a baby, a few months old, and the other cutie is about three. There’s two of them, and they are super darling (they’re all boys). Yay! I can’t wait! Well, I’ll have my next entry tomorrow!

Bye-Bye!
