Snow that's sticking!

Last night, we had huge gusts of wind and sideways snow! And guess what? It STUCK! Because of the time, (10:30) my dad didn't let us go outside, but when we woke up, it was the very same! Ragen and I RUSHED outside and played in the snow for a couple of hours. I hope we'll be able to get up to Hood River, because everything is icy and frozen!

SNOW!

Today, when my family, my friend Sabrina, and I got home from church, it began to SNOW! We quickly bundled up in hats and gloves and ran outside full speed! They were big flakes, (that means it's warm outside) so they landed on our tongue easily! YAY! I love snow! Sadly, it didn't stick, but just watching it fall was fun.

Recent whereabouts...

Halloween is over, but I just realized that I forgot to post about it! I was Farrah Fawcett, with the hair and all for Halloween. I had so much fun trick-or-treating with my two friends, Anika and Anna! My pillowcase was about halfway full of candy when we finished, but in the next two days, my candy amount dropped drastically. (Due to the fact that my dad ate half of my candy)
Today, Maddie, my mom, and I went shopping for groceries, some clothes, and a birthday present. The first thing Maddie thought of for the present was...wait for it...a Snuggie! (you know, those 'fuzzy blankets with convenient arms!') It turns out that it was a perfect gift! We literally drove EVERYWHERE today! The funny thing is that I sat in the car while Maddie and my mom shopped. Very convenient for me [teehee!]!
Now, I'll share about the more current things going on! THANKSGIVING! [gobble...gobble] My family and I are driving to my aunt and uncle's house up in Hood River for Thanksgiving. There may be a chance of snow, and my sisters and I are SO excited! Hopefully, I will have a bulging belly so big that my pants won't button after this plentiful holiday!
The fall term is over already, so we have this week off. I'm anticipating a trip to the mall, (to check out the new H&M store) some sleep-overs, and even more fun things...Which I am blanking out on right now because I am so tired. (I just woke up)
Well, now you're pretty much all filled in on the recent whereabouts and adventures of Morgan!

Just finished with my cross country meet!

Just an hour ago, I finished my cross country meet. It was really nice outside, but in cross country, you almost WISH for bad weather because it's so hot. I was baking, but I still did well in the race! The race was with 6th and 7th graders, with about 50 girls. I got 11th overall and 3rd 6th grader. Also, I was the first person on the Athey Creek Middle school to finish; I even got a medal! The hardest part was when I had to run up a hill that was difficult to even WALK up, and there were random ankle-high dirt mounds that I tripped over. Besides that though, it was a fantastic race! I'm sad that I only have one more meet because cross country is a great experience. I get to push myself as far as I can go, and I feel really great!

Good test grades

I got my tests back, and I did pretty well! I think on most of them, I worried too much. Today I had yet another test, and yet again, I worried too much. :D But that's okay! (By the way, if donkeys could fly, then become a strawberry. BUT, if all else fails, grapes are the way to go.) Anyways, guests are coming over for dinner, and my mom made a whole bunch of hamburger soup (it's not what it sounds like) and I am SO excited! It is the greatest soup pretty much...EVER! Well, the guests are almost here, so I'm gonna go set the table.

Bye! ~mo [status: anticipating yummy soup...]

Why does great success always happen when nobody is looking, yet complete and utter failure happens while the whole world is looking? I am puzzled by this question.
